House hunt

Most of our first week in Yangon was spent on house hunting. A remarkable experience as many buildings are suffering from the intense weather conditions and are quickly falling apart. Monsoon in Yangon

We have arrived in Yangon. Surprising how different the climate is at the other side of the Thai/Myanmar peninsula. In the Gulf of Thailand the monsoon consists of a rain shower now and then, while at the Andaman sea, where Yangon is, it rains every day this time of the year. Luckily we still have…

❤️ Bangkok

After just over 2 weeks at Thai islands in the Gulf of Thailand, we flew back to Bangkok. This time, in contrary to going there, a quick and quiet flight. Arriving in Bangkok is impressive if you haven’t seen a metropole before. Leah and Ise were overwhelmed by all the giant advertisements, roof gardens, swimming…

‘I’m from Myanmar’

Unwinding at Koh Samui

A final good bye, hug and tear, and off we went to the airport. With ten pieces of luggage, which we kept on counting to assure nobody left a bag pack or trolly at one of the numerous coffee places we visited on our way to Asia, we managed to arrive with all our belongings…

Ready to take off
